Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about AI-powered delivery intelligence and AI governance.

General

Revue-ai is an AI-powered delivery intelligence platform that provides consulting-grade project reviews and strategic insights in hours, not weeks—at 90% less than traditional consulting costs.

Founded by experienced management consultants with 25+ years in business transformation, Revue-ai combines specialist expertise with advanced AI to democratise access to world-class delivery insight.

Our platform helps C-Suite executives, PMO directors, portfolio managers, and project leaders make confident, evidence-based decisions about their most critical initiatives.

Delivery Intelligence is actionable insight that helps organisations understand and improve their ability to achieve intended business outcomes.

Whether you’re delivering a strategic initiative, transformation programme, product launch, or operational change, Delivery Intelligence answers the questions that matter:

  • What is our true probability of achieving the business outcome?
  • Where are the hidden risks and blind spots that could derail success?
  • How does our delivery capability compare to best practice and industry benchmarks?
  • What specific actions will have the greatest impact on success?

Unlike traditional reporting that focuses on activity and milestones, Delivery Intelligence focuses on outcomes—giving leaders the clarity and confidence to make better decisions, faster.

Revue-ai serves leaders who need clarity on delivery performance:

  • C-Suite & Board Members: Board-ready insights for investment decisions and strategic oversight
  • PMO Directors: Portfolio-wide visibility and standardised assessment capability
  • Portfolio Managers: Data-driven prioritisation and resource allocation
  • Project & Programme Managers: Independent validation and evidence for escalations
  • Management Consultants: AI-powered analysis to accelerate and enhance client engagements
  • Transformation Leaders: Objective assessment of complex change programmes

A Project Review from Revue-ai is a specialist-enhanced AI assessment that delivers precise, unbiased insight into project health, governance strength, delivery risks and likelihood of success. Our mission is to make this level of clarity accessible to every organisation, not just those with enterprise consulting budgets.

You can also try our free Project Health Pulse for an instant 2-minute assessment.

Because even the most capable teams can be too close to the work. Revue-ai provides objective, data-driven insights with accuracy and speed, empowering leaders to make confident decisions based on real evidence—not assumptions.

Revue-ai recommends reviews when:

  • Scope or plan feels uncertain
  • Stakeholders lack alignment
  • Milestones slip or risks increase
  • PMO capacity is stretched
  • Senior leaders need precise clarity fast

A quarterly Revue-ai review is recommended to deliver precise, AI-enhanced visibility that keeps your projects on course and your decisions confidently informed.

A typical Revue-ai review is delivered in hours not weeks—because speed is a core value and essential for effective intervention.

You receive a precision-engineered insights report, including:

  • In-depth AI analysis
  • AI generated best practice scores
  • Detailed AI findings on delivery against best practice
  • AI-backed recommendations for fast improvement

Most reports are delivered within 4 hours of completing your submission. Complex analyses may take up to 8 hours.
You’ll complete a focused questionnaire and upload relevant project documentation. We work with what you have—no special preparation needed.
Yes. Every report includes one round of clarification or refinement at no additional cost.

AI Governance

AI governance is the set of organisational policies, processes, roles, and oversight structures that determine how AI is adopted, deployed, and managed across an enterprise. It covers accountability, risk management, compliance, ethical use, and strategic alignment.

This is distinct from model governance, which focuses on individual AI systems (bias testing, drift monitoring, explainability). Organisational AI governance addresses the broader question: does your organisation have the framework to use AI responsibly at scale?

AI governance matters because:

  • Regulatory risk: The EU AI Act, UK DSIT framework, and ISO 42001 are creating enforceable compliance obligations. Non-compliance can mean fines up to 7% of global turnover.
  • Shadow AI: Employees are adopting AI tools without organisational knowledge or approval, creating data leakage and compliance risks.
  • Board accountability: Boards are increasingly expected to demonstrate oversight of AI risk — and cannot delegate what they do not understand.
  • Reputational exposure: AI failures, bias incidents, and data breaches can cause significant reputational damage.

The EU AI Act is the world’s first comprehensive AI regulation. It uses a risk-based classification system (unacceptable, high, limited, minimal risk) and applies to any organisation that develops, deploys, or distributes AI systems within the EU — regardless of where the organisation is based.

Key dates:

  • February 2025: Prohibitions on unacceptable risk AI systems
  • August 2025: Obligations for general-purpose AI models
  • August 2026: Full enforcement for high-risk AI systems

If your organisation uses or deploys AI, or sells products or services containing AI into the EU, you are likely within scope.

Shadow AI refers to artificial intelligence tools used within an organisation without formal approval, oversight, or governance. It is the AI equivalent of shadow IT — but with higher stakes.

Risks include:

  • Data leakage: Sensitive data entered into unapproved AI tools may be processed or stored outside your data governance framework
  • Compliance gaps: Unapproved tools cannot be assessed for regulatory compliance
  • No audit trail: Without visibility, you cannot demonstrate governance to regulators or auditors
  • Inconsistent quality: Unvalidated AI outputs may inform business decisions without quality assurance

The AI Governance Pulse is a free, instant diagnostic that scores your organisation’s AI governance maturity across 5 key dimensions:

  • 15 targeted questions covering strategy, risk, compliance, oversight, and operations
  • Completed in under 3 minutes
  • Instant governance health score (0-100)
  • Critical gap identification with prioritised recommendations
  • Shareable results link for stakeholders

No sign-up required. Start your free governance check now.

Revue-ai offers a graduated suite of AI governance intelligence products:

  • G1: AI Governance Pulse (Free) — Instant governance health check. 15 questions, 3 minutes, immediate results.
  • G2: AI Governance Readiness Assessment (from £349) — Comprehensive maturity assessment with regulatory alignment scoring and remediation roadmap.
  • G3: AI Risk Intelligence Report (from £499) — Full risk intelligence with AI risk register, vendor assessment, and board-ready risk briefing.

Each product builds on the last, creating a trust ladder from free diagnostic to comprehensive governance intelligence. Explore AI Governance products.

Most AI governance platforms focus on model governance — monitoring individual AI systems for bias, drift, and explainability. These tools are valuable but address a different problem.

Revue-ai focuses on organisational AI governance: the policies, processes, accountability structures, and oversight mechanisms that determine whether AI is used responsibly across the enterprise. We answer:

  • Do you have an AI governance framework?
  • Can you demonstrate regulatory compliance readiness?
  • Is your board equipped to oversee AI risk?
  • Are your third-party AI vendors governed appropriately?

Think of it as the difference between auditing a single system and auditing the governance framework that should oversee all systems.

Revue-ai’s AI governance products assess organisational readiness against:

  • EU AI Act — The world’s first comprehensive AI regulation with risk-based classification
  • UK DSIT Framework — The UK’s five-principle approach to AI regulation
  • ISO/IEC 42001 — International standard for AI management systems
  • ISO/IEC 42005 — Guidance on AI impact assessments (emerging)
  • NIST AI RMF — US AI Risk Management Framework

Our assessments map your current maturity against these frameworks, identifying gaps and providing a clear path to compliance readiness.

AI governance assessments are typically commissioned by:

  • CIOs and CTOs — Responsible for AI strategy and technology governance
  • Chief Data Officers — Overseeing data governance that intersects with AI
  • Heads of AI / ML — Leading AI deployment and needing governance frameworks
  • Risk & Compliance Officers — Assessing regulatory readiness and risk exposure
  • Board Members / Audit Committees — Fulfilling oversight responsibilities for AI risk
  • Management Consultants — Advising clients on AI governance readiness

Revue-ai delivers AI governance intelligence at a fraction of the time required by traditional consulting:

  • AI Governance Pulse: Instant results. 3 minutes to complete, immediate scoring.
  • Readiness Assessment: 48 hours from submission to board-ready report.
  • Risk Intelligence Report: 1 week from submission to comprehensive risk analysis.

Compare this to traditional consulting-led governance reviews, which typically take 3–6 months and cost six figures.

Methodology

Revue-ai combines:

  • Specialist trained AI analysis and reporting
  • AI-enhanced pattern detection
  • Comparison to best practice frameworks

This blend enables insights that are accurate, fast and accessible—core to our mission and values.

Revue-ai uses a mix of structured interviews, artefact evaluation, scoring models and AI-driven insight mapping.
Revue-ai reports are built on in-depth AI analysis of your documentation combined with interviews and surveys. Speed and accessibility are fundamental—so we work with what you already have.

ChatGPT is a general-purpose assistant. Revue-ai is a purpose-built delivery intelligence engine with a 12-step analysis pipeline. The difference is like asking a generalist for advice versus engaging a specialist consulting team:

  • 50+ specialist AI agents working in parallel—each trained for specific analysis tasks like risk assessment, gap analysis, change readiness, and benchmarking. Methodology-specific agents activate based on your project type (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid)
  • Knowledge graph construction—we build a structural map of concepts, risks, and relationships across your documents, enabling cross-source insights that no single prompt could produce
  • Agentic evidence retrieval—a multi-step autonomous search system that achieves 90–95% evidence coverage, compared to 65–75% from simple vector search. Every finding is anchored to your source material
  • 150+ consultant-grade benchmarks—findings are calibrated against real-world examples drawn from 25+ years of management consulting. The AI doesn’t guess what good looks like—it has been shown
  • Three-tier quality assurance with an independent LLM Judge that scores every finding against evidence, relevance, and accuracy thresholds. Reports must meet an 80/100 consultancy-grade threshold before delivery
  • Thesis-driven reports—structured using the Pyramid Principle with evidence citations, not a list of AI-generated bullet points. 16 strategic sections, executive-grade narrative, fully traceable findings

ChatGPT gives you a conversation. Revue-ai gives you a board-ready assessment with the rigour, structure, and evidence trail that enterprise decisions demand—in hours, not weeks.

We apply a three-tier quality assurance system that mirrors how the best consulting firms review their work:

  • Tier 1: AI Validation—Each finding is scored against relevance, accuracy, completeness, and evidence quality. Findings below threshold are filtered out.
  • Tier 2: Evidence Enhancement—Every finding is cross-referenced against your documents and responses. We trace evidence back to source material and quantify business impact.
  • Tier 3: Report Quality Review—Final reports must meet an 80/100 consultancy-grade threshold. Critical sections undergo two-pass review. If a section falls short, it’s regenerated.

This systematic approach ensures you receive insights you can confidently present to your board—not AI-generated guesswork.

Revue-ai isn’t a single AI answering questions—it’s an orchestrated analysis engine with multiple specialist components:

  • Parallel specialist agents—Gap analysis, risk assessment, quality scoring, and recommendation generation run simultaneously, each with domain-specific expertise
  • Knowledge graph integration—We build a relationship map of concepts, risks, and findings from your documents, enabling insights that span multiple sources
  • Thesis-driven reporting—Every report starts with a strategic thesis that drives all sections, ensuring narrative coherence rather than disconnected observations
  • Methodology-aware scoring—We don’t apply generic criteria. Agile projects are assessed against Agile best practices; Waterfall against Waterfall frameworks

The result is analysis that understands context, connects dots across your documentation, and delivers coherent strategic insight—not a list of AI-generated bullet points.

Revue-ai recognises that Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid projects have fundamentally different success factors. Our analysis adapts accordingly:

  • Agile projects are assessed on sprint effectiveness, team dynamics, backlog health, velocity trends, and continuous improvement practices
  • Waterfall projects are evaluated against governance rigour, phase-gate compliance, risk management maturity, and planning quality
  • Hybrid approaches are analysed for flexibility balance, governance transitions, and appropriate methodology application across workstreams

Each methodology has 20+ weighted evaluation criteria across 5 scoring dimensions, developed from industry frameworks and consulting best practice. This isn’t generic AI—it’s specialist expertise encoded into systematic analysis.

Yes. Every finding, risk, and recommendation in a Revue-ai report links back to specific evidence—whether from your uploaded documents, questionnaire responses, or both. We show you exactly what we based our analysis on, so you can validate insights against your own knowledge and context. This evidence traceability is essential for board presentations and audit requirements.

MACC stands for Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment — a pre-committed spend agreement many organisations have with Microsoft. When a product achieves Azure IP Co-Sell Eligible status, purchases through the marketplace count towards the customer’s MACC balance.

Revue-ai is currently a Microsoft Co-Sell Ready partner and is working towards Azure IP Co-Sell Eligible status, which unlocks MACC eligibility. Once achieved:

  • Revue-ai purchases (priced in USD on the marketplace) would draw down your existing MACC commitment
  • No new budget approval needed if you have uncommitted MACC balance
  • Procurement simplified — treated as Microsoft spend, not a new vendor

Today, all Revue-ai products are available through the Microsoft Commercial Marketplace with standard marketplace billing in USD. Contact us for the latest on our MACC eligibility timeline.

We offer multiple ways to purchase:

  • Card payment (direct): Pay by credit or debit card through our store in GBP, USD, or EUR
  • Azure Marketplace: Billed in USD through your existing Azure invoice — no separate vendor onboarding
  • Enterprise invoicing: For volume or portfolio-level engagements, we offer direct invoicing — contact us to discuss

Whether you pay by card, through the marketplace, or need a tailored enterprise arrangement, we make procurement as simple as possible.

When you purchase through the Azure Marketplace, billing is handled by Microsoft:

  • Metered SaaS model — no monthly base charge, you pay per report at a fixed fee in USD
  • Usage appears on your regular Azure invoice alongside your other Azure services
  • You receive immediate access to submit your project for analysis
  • No separate vendor onboarding, contracts, or purchase orders required

When you purchase directly through our store, payment is by card (GBP, USD, or EUR) and processed securely via Stripe.

Both channels deliver the same products and reports.

Yes — we offer two free Pulse diagnostics, no sign-up required:

  • Project Health Pulse — instant 5-dimension delivery health check, results in under 3 minutes
  • AI Governance Pulse — instant AI governance maturity diagnostic, 15 questions with immediate results

Both are available directly on our website and through the marketplace. They’re the fastest way to experience Revue-ai’s analytical approach before purchasing a full report. Try the Project Health Pulse or Try the AI Governance Pulse.

Risk & Objection Handling

Never. Revue-ai evaluates systems, structures and clarity, not individual performance.
Minimal preparation required—because accessibility and speed are central to the Revue-ai approach.
Because even world-class PMOs benefit from independent, specialist-enhanced insight that cuts through bias and internal constraints. Revue-ai will augment your strong PMO to make faster and more informed decisions.

Data Security & Privacy

Revue-ai is built on Microsoft Azure infrastructure with data residency as a priority:

  • AI Analysis: All AI models used for document analysis and report generation are hosted in the United Kingdom (Azure UK South region)
  • Voice & Text-to-Speech: Voice processing services are hosted in Sweden (Azure Sweden Central region)
  • Data at Rest: All customer data is stored within UK data centres

This ensures your data remains within European jurisdictions with strong data protection frameworks.

No. Your data is never used to train or improve AI models. Specifically:

  • Your prompts, documents, and generated outputs are not used to train Microsoft, third-party, or any other AI models
  • Your data is processed solely to deliver your review results
  • Fine-tuned models and analysis outputs are available exclusively for your use

Microsoft Azure provides contractual commitments that your data remains yours and is never shared with model providers or used for model improvement.

Revue-ai leverages Microsoft Azure’s enterprise-grade security infrastructure:

  • Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256)
  • Access Controls: Role-based access control (RBAC) and Azure Active Directory integration
  • Compliance: Azure UK regions are designed for UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 compliance
  • Audit Trails: Comprehensive logging and monitoring of all data access

Microsoft does not provide any government with direct or unfettered access to customer data and follows rigorous legal review processes for any lawful requests.

Yes. Revue-ai is designed to support compliance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Our use of Azure UK regions ensures data residency within the UK, and we maintain appropriate technical and organisational measures as required under Article 32. We can support your Data Protection Impact Assessments and provide documentation for your records of processing activities.

We understand this concern completely—it’s the most common question from organisations evaluating Revue-ai. The important thing to know is that document upload is entirely optional.

Our platform is built around a comprehensive questionnaire system with 260+ targeted questions that captures the detail our AI agents need to deliver meaningful analysis. All 6 analysis agents are designed to work with questionnaire responses alone, and several products—including the Executive Insight Brief and Team Health Diagnostic—are specifically built for questionnaire-only use.

If your organisation is comfortable sharing some documentation but not all, you have options:

  • Upload obfuscated or redacted versions of sensitive documents
  • Extract key content and paste it into the questionnaire fields
  • Upload non-sensitive supporting materials while keeping confidential documents internal

The questionnaire-only path still delivers actionable, consulting-grade insight—document upload simply adds additional depth and evidence for the AI to work with.

Revue-ai enforces strict organisation-level data isolation:

  • Database isolation: PostgreSQL Row-Level Security (RLS) policies enforce tenant separation at the database level. Other organisations physically cannot query your data—the database engine itself prevents cross-tenant access.
  • Review-level access: Only users explicitly assigned to a review can see its documents, questionnaire responses, and generated reports.
  • AI processing isolation: All AI analysis uses Azure OpenAI (UK South region), not the public OpenAI API. Microsoft contractually cannot store, access, or use your data for model training.
  • Encryption: AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.2+ in transit, and field-level encryption for sensitive data fields.

For more detail, see our Security Policy and our article on Security in the Age of AI.

We believe in transparency on this topic. Like any SaaS platform—Jira, Notion, Google Workspace, or Salesforce—a small number of named system administrators have the technical ability to access customer data at the database level.

However, this access is strictly governed:

  • Access is only exercised for support escalations or technical debugging—never as routine practice
  • All database access is audited and logged with timestamps and the identity of the accessor
  • The number of administrators with this level of access is kept to an absolute minimum
  • We are happy to provide written commitments regarding data access policies as part of your procurement process

We’d rather be honest about how enterprise SaaS works than make claims that aren’t credible. Our commitment is to earn your trust through transparency, not marketing.

Project Health Indicators

Revue-ai looks for indicators such as unclear scope, backlog pressure, governance gaps, unaligned stakeholders, dependency risk and delivery drift.
The Revue-ai review provides a high-precision assessment in hours— faster than any traditional approach for rapid insights and for urgent situations.
Revue-ai democratises access to insights for all organisations, through precision, speed, accessibility and innovation. We combine AI with human specialist model training, to deliver insights in hours—not months—at 90% of the cost of traditional consultancy led reviews.

For Consulting Partners

Consulting Intelligence is the practice of encoding a firm's proprietary consulting methodology into an AI-powered intelligence product — enabling structured assessments, reviews, and diagnostics to be delivered autonomously, at consulting-grade quality, in hours instead of weeks. The term was coined by Revue-ai to describe the intersection of domain expertise, AI orchestration, and productised delivery that allows consulting firms, system integrators, and internal delivery teams to scale their methodology without scaling their headcount.
We encode your consulting methodology into an AI-powered assessment product using our four-stage Intelligence Method (IMMERSE, ARCHITECT, CALIBRATE, ACTIVATE). The total production build is £30,000 in three milestone payments. Once live, you purchase reports at £3,000 each and sell to your clients at your own margin. Learn more about the Intelligence Method.
You do. Your methodology, frameworks, and assessment IP remain entirely yours. Revue-ai encodes and operationalises your methodology exclusively for your practice — we do not share, reuse, or train on partner IP across clients.
Nothing. IMMERSE is our investment — we commit 1-2 weeks and £7-10K of effort at our own risk to prove the concept works with your methodology. You only commit commercially if you are satisfied with the prototype output.
You walk away. IMMERSE is our investment — we commit 1-2 weeks and £7-10K of effort at our own risk. If either side concludes the fit is not right, there is no charge and no obligation. You keep the insight from the process. This is how we ensure every partnership we enter is one we are confident will deliver.
Typically 4-6 weeks from the start of IMMERSE to a live product. IMMERSE (1-2 weeks), ARCHITECT (1 week), CALIBRATE (1-2 weeks), ACTIVATE (1 week), with your validation at every stage.
Yes. Reports carry your firm's identity, methodology terminology, scoring framework, and visual standards. Your clients see only your brand. Explore the partner programme.
Accelerate is the fastest route to AI-powered delivery. You access our existing product range — Project Reviews, Benchmarking Reports, Executive Briefs, Team Diagnostics, and AI Governance assessments — co-branded to your practice. Reports are purchased at standard pricing plus an annual partner fee covering branding setup, template customisation, and ongoing support. No bespoke build required — start delivering in days.
No. There is no minimum volume commitment on any tier. For Accelerate partners, you purchase reports as needed. For Encode and Transform partners, the only commitment is the build investment — after that, report volumes are entirely at your discretion.
You can. Most firms that try find the gap between a prototype and a client-ready product is wider than expected — typically twelve months and £500K+ before a single client sees a report. That investment covers business cases, procurement, hiring specialist AI and engineering talent, the build itself, security and compliance review, and ongoing maintenance. The hardest part is not the AI — it is calibrating the output against real consulting standards, building the evidence tracing that makes findings auditable, and validating every report against the judgement of experienced practitioners. Revue-ai closes that gap in 4-6 weeks for £30,000, because we have already solved these problems across multiple product families.
Your clients' data is handled with the same enterprise-grade security as all Revue-ai products. UK-hosted on Microsoft Azure, AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.2+ in transit, GDPR compliant, and multi-tenant isolation with row-level security. Client data is never used for AI model training. Your clients' data is accessible only to your practice — Revue-ai operates the platform but does not access assessment content without explicit authorisation.
Your product evolves as your methodology does. Enhancement work — new dimensions, updated scoring, additional report formats, regulatory updates — is available on demand against a published rate card. Every change is scoped and quoted before work begins, so there are no open-ended costs or surprises.
